Update: 2009

 

Hello, Web surfers! Welcome to Kat's Clips, your one-stop shop for everything Kat.

This is my zoo, and I respect their authority.

• I am a movie and music buff. Atonement, Changeling, Revolutionary Road, The Graduate, and Pride & Prejudice are my Top Five favorite movies. As for music, "Someone Like You" by Van Morrison is currently my favorite song. I also enjoy everything from Oldies (especially Billie Holiday) to Hip-Hop.
• While life can be a roller coaster, I truly believe that happiness is a choice. If you don't choose it, you lose it.
• I enjoy writing, piano, home improvements, antiques, old photographs, history, and art, especially nature photography and Impressionism. I hope to have a memoir in print one day. It is my ultimate goal in life, second to loving my family to the best of my ability and making sure they know it.
• Although I visited six out of the seven continents by the age of 18, I cannot imagine life outside the San Francisco Bay Area (family and weather are the two best reasons to stay).
• I have the tip of a pencil permanently embedded in my right hand and almost severed one of my fingers with a kitchen knife. Despite frequent involuntary hand mutilations, I never broke a bone or sprained any part of my body.
• I'm good at chess and Scrabble, but I don't know the rules to any American sport that involves two teams and a ball.
• I have a hard time grasping any concept that isn't creative. Math is the very devil, and I am not ashamed to admit that I carry a Tip Computer chart in my wallet.
